Library Outreach Services

Library Outreach Workers assist individuals and families in accessing the services and resources they need to improve their quality of life. They serve as a guide in connecting people with social services, healthcare, housing, education and other resources in the community.

Classroom

Presentations

Regina Public Library offers a variety of different presentations that educators can book for their classes. Learn about library services, book a storytime or STEAM program, and more. Class presentations are requested using an online form.

Read Together

Regina

Regina Public Library provides the family of every baby born at the General Hospital Mother Baby Unit with a Read Together Regina bag to help support their early literacy skills development. Families from Regina, whose babies were born at home can also request a bag at any of our locations.

Family Storytime

Ages 2 to 5.

Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and other fun activities with your child.

Offered at various library branches.

Level Up

Ages 14 and under.

Children use a Level Up game card to track the amount of time doing various activities such as reading, exploring nature, creating art, visiting museums, etc. Completed Level Up game cards are entered into draws for awesome prizes.

Offered during June, July and August at all library branches.

Mainly Mother Goose

Ages 2 and under. An interactive program for parents and babies featuring songs, rhymes, bounces and books.

Offered at various library branches.

Preschool Storytime

Ages 3 to 5.

Enjoy stories, songs, rhymes and related activities.



Stay and Play

Ages 5 years and under.

Read and play with your child while you socialize with other participants. Books and toys are supplied.

STEAM Programs

Ages 6 to 12.

Explore a variety of fun activities and games as you learn about science, technology, art, engineering and math.

Toddler Time

Ages 2 to 3.

Enjoy songs, stories, games and fingerplays with your child.
